The Storm
The storm has arrived,
And with it’s coming,
The clear blue skies
have been reduced to nothing,
but a darkening black abyss
where something is amiss,
A smell, the taste,
Of raindrops on your lips
You let them fall on your face
And watch them turn to mist
As the eerie wind
Howls up to the skies
Like a siren’s call
On this crisp October night,
Even a fool would know that
The storm has arrived.
